Pain is Back!!!

my gosh i’m in tremendous physical pain!!!

i can’t move much, can’t walk properly and can’t bend to my left…

for those of u who don’t know, i’ve had a chronic back muscle injury for 7 years since i played competitive volleyball in high school. straining and jumping as high as i can for a spike and landing wrongly gave me the injury that fateful day. apparently a visit to an orthopedic specialist a couple weeks ago confirmed that it still hasn’t healed. it only hurts sometimes when i over strain myself, but nothing to serious as to render me immovable..

futsal was fine. never felt better. but yester day i went to UM to find my good ol macha, Anand Dave and played some basketball, a sport i’ve not played since graduating. everything was fine. i was in a team which had one man less so i was running like crazy, feeling fine….

then suddenly…it happened.

as i was changing direction i felt like the bottom of my spine seemed to detach itself. a bolt of pain shot through my back and felt immobilized. such a thing has never happened to me in my life before. i couldn’t freakin move!!i was so scared i thought i had a slipped disc..something i wasn’t ready to accept..c’mon i’m only 23 man!!

and so i became lame. hobbled to my car in pain and drove home. NGAI TI..changing gears by moving my feet would be accompanied by pain..i just had to grit my teeth all the way back to Cheras..

at home, i broke the news to Sam. he tested me and found that i could bend right, but not left, so he diagnosed me with aggravating the same old injury. needless to say, it was highly aggravated. crap man..

and so i look forward to this week without any strenous sports. oh, what a life without sports!!feel like a useless piece of trash with out sports…i hate injuries!!AAAHHHH!!!i dunno which is worse, spraining my ankle regularly or walking around like a 90 yr old man..

God please help me…can u pls just take away this persistent injury miraculously?hehehe..Amen.
